Everyday thousands of Stray and Abandoned Pet dogs and cats in Bulgaria are subjected to horrendous forms of cruelty, torture and neglect. They are kicked, stoned, beaten, starved, poisoned, shot, killed or maimed in traffic accidents. Many of these animals are left injured and in severe pain, frightened and distressed. In winter with no food, water or shelter many of them quite simply freeze to death. We are determined to help alleviate the stresses caused to many of these animals through our Sterilisation, Feeding and Education programmes and when possible find loving homes where they will be looked after, enabling them to live the happy safe lives they deserve.
